Looking for some great camping gifts for women? Here are some budget-friendly, cozy, and useful gifts for RVers and tent campers alike. You can also check out our Camping Gifts for Men ideas since a lot of these work both ways.

Camping Slippers

I know it sounds like cozy slippers and being outside do not go hand-in-hand, but hear me out! I always wanted something easy to slip on that would keep my feet toasty and comfy at night by the campfire, like slippers inside but something sturdy enough for the outdoors. I was surprised to find several great options. I love my Teva flip flops like none other, and they made these water resistant slip on moccasins that make the perfect camping slippers even in muddy conditions. Toms has a fur-lined slip-on that is super cozy, and you can feel good about buying from the company because they have a long history of charitable giving.

Smores’ Stick Set

These cute marshmallow roasting sticks take up basically no space because they are telescoping, and they come with an adorable case. They are great to have on hand in your camper or with your tent camping supplies. They are more compact than the disposable wooden sticks which are so awkward to pack. Plus, you’ll never run out because you can just wash and reuse.

Comfy Wearable Blanket

So this think is a little ridiculous in that it is huge, but it is also the warmest, coziest campfire hoodie you could ever want. If you do winter camping, or even camp in the fall when the nights around the fire get chilly, this is great. It is not actually a camping blanket, but is a very oversized hoodie that has sherpa lining inside. It is roomy enough for layers underneath. It is one-size fits most, but if you are petite, go with the child size.

Large Camping Tote

These totes are so practical for campers. Whether you tent or RV camp, you have a lot to pack and this camping tote is massive. Large handles are big enough to put over your shoulder if the tote gets heavy, and the totes themselves are pretty darn durable. The open top allows for easy access to everything you can stuff in there. These make packing and unpacking super easy. Plus, when empty, they collapse for easy storage.

Yeti Mug

Okay, okay, I know I posted these in the Camping Gifts for Men post, but I just love them. And wouldn’t it be so cute to have a matching set? These are so much more than camping coffee cups. They keep your beverage (caffeinated or boozy) hot or cold for hours and have a handy lid to prevent spills. They come in a bunch of great colors. I suggest the larger 14oz size as the 10oz is more like a kids cup. Wait! That’s a great idea for camping stocking stuffers for the whole family.

Looking for camping gifts for him? The internet is full of outdoorsy gifts for men, but most of are not shopping for Bear Grylls. A lot of the camping and hiking gifts out there are maybe a little too rugged or unnecessary, especially if you are looking for gifts for the more average outdoor enthusiast. Here are some fun, practical, and budget-friendly camping gifts for men.

Yeti Coffee Mug

This is a great travel mug. My husband and I both have one in the camper and use it every single day when we camp. It comes in 10 or 14oz, but I suggest the larger size. The lid is great for keeping your beverage from spilling. This camping coffee cup is well insulated and keeps your drink hot or cold for hours. In fact, we don’t just use it for coffee…in the hot summer months it is a great way to carry your cold cocktail around the campsite. And the price point is a little more doable than the bigger Yeti products.

Blackstone and Accessories

Blackstone is the “it” grill in camping right now and there’s a reason why…well more like a million reasons. A tabletop version is portable and affordable. These are the perfect camping grill for RVers and tent campers since they are super versatile. There are 22″ and 17″ tabletop versions I suggest a lid, cover and accessories to go with it.

Cooler Backpack

A cooler backpack is the camping accessory I never knew I needed until by husband was gifted one at a company retreat. We wondered if we would use it. We use it ALL THE TIME. It is great for hiking for obvious reasons- you can back a healthy lunch and it will keep your food and drinks cool and fresh for hours with a few ice packs or a couple of frozen water bottles. It is way more portable than lugging around a cooler with a handle and way more practical than shoving multiple small insulated lunch boxes and thermoses into a regular backpack. It also come in handy at campsites when you want to transport cold food or drinks and your friend’s RV is across the campground, or you want to bring your own refreshments to the pool or lake. We have literally stuffed an entire 2 gallon thermos filled with Malibu Bay Breeze in it to serve punch-style by the beach.

Inflatable Kayak

Camping with a kayak is not always the easiest logistically speaking. Of course serious kayakers manage, but for a beginner camping kayak, this is a great solution. It is relatively compact when deflated and surprisingly sturdy in the water. This set comes with a basic pump and paddles.

Hanging Toiletry Bag

This compact camping toiletry organizer has great pockets and space for a ton of toiletries. It can be easily packed at home, zipped up, and ready to go. At the campsite you can hang it from the shower curtain rod in your RV bathroom or bring it with you to the bathhouse. Bottles stay upright whether it is hanging or just sitting on the countertop.

I am definitely not hugely into makeup and if you are expecting a tutorial, you are in the wrong place. But you still want to look half way cute for the million awesome family pictures you get to take while camping. But you also don’t want to take up a bunch of space or a bunch of time on makeup while you are camping. Here are a few products that actually can be everything you need to bring if you wanted, and can fit in a teeny tiny case and take just 3 minutes (yes I timed it) to apply.

Tinted Moisturizer

A tinted moisturizer kills two birds with one stone. No need for two products when one works well. When we are comping I don’t want to waste a bunch of time on makeup and really want to just get outside, so it is a time saver as well. This one from Neutrogena is SPF 30 with is important too. I also don’t want to be too made up with a lot of concealer or foundation, so a tinted moisturizer is perfect.

Eye Brightener Stick

These Eye Brightener Sticks from Thrive Causemetics are life-changing. I began using one light shade to highlight, and now use 2-3 shades as eyeshadow every single day. They are incredibly quick and easy to use. Plus they look really nice on and are not too shimmery so that you look over-done. One added bonus over shadow is that they are not messy at all, so no powder all over your camper or makeup bag if they get banged around.

Transluscent Powder

I like a basic transluscent powder to set my makeup and control shine, but again not to look too over-made up. This one from Neutrogena is inexpensive and gets the job done. Here is another option from Physicians Formula with added sunscreen, which can be great if you’re spending a lot of time outdoors!

Waterproof Mascara

I normally don’t wear a waterproof mascara because it’s a pain to get off at night (that’s why the one pictured above is the regular version). But when we are camping I usually bring waterproof because we spend a lot of time in the water, swimming, hot tubs, splash pads, beaches (wow camping is fancy). Waterproof is a good idea, at least in the summer months.

Curling Iron

This isn’t make up, but it’s another double-duty beauty tool. I like a larger curling iron, either a 1.5 inch or at least a 1 inch. With a larger barrel you can curl your hair (obviously), but also it can be used to straighten hair. I still like to do my hair while camping, not every day if we are just hanging around, but if we decide to venture out or go out to dinner, it’s nice to have the option.

There’s nothing wrong with wanting to look nice while camping. We take a million pictures, so I don’t mind spending a few minutes in the morning getting ready. I don’t want to waste a ton of time though, so I like to be quick and simple. You can choose to do more, or just skip it all together.

There is nothing more central to camping then relaxing by the campfire. It. Does. Not. Get. Better. Then. That. So you want to make sure you have the best, most comfortable camp chairs you can get, that fit in your budget and your RV for that matter. We have been through a few chairs in our camping careers and here is what we have learned. Most of us have had the $5 fold-up chairs that you can get anywhere and that is what we started with (and to be honest we keep 4 extra of these under our dinette seat for when we have guests), but we are fancy here, so lets look at some cooler options. To be honest, we haven’t come across a lot of bad chairs, but these all have some pros and cons to consider.

Camping Club Chairs

These chairs are the best! We have four of these in our camper, plus two ottomans. They are a bit of an investment compared to some options, but they are super cozy. The stuffing makes them feel like you are sitting on a sofa, not like most hard outdoor foldable chairs. They are really roomy. I can comfortably curl up in the chairs with one of my kids, or sit sideways to lounge and read a book. If you want a spacious chair, this is for you. They fold up relatively easily and come with a carrying case that has a handle, making them sort of portable. I like any chair with a case because we store ours in our bunkhouse and the case keeps the dirt/mud/etc. from tracking all over the camper. Plus it’s my job to set up and put away chairs, so the handles make it super easy to carry in and out of the camper. I feel like they are more compact and easier to store than some options out there, but less than others. Our friend fit a couple in their under-bunk storage without issue, although you might not want to carry them to the beach.

Another “con” is that because of the stuffing, when they get rained on they do take a little longer to dry than some unstuffed options. But once the sun comes out they do dry in a couple of hours. Also, ours didn’t come with drink holders and there are no options I have found to attach any. The one I linked to actually has a little pouch on the side that would totally hold a beer, cell phone, etc. Kinda wish mine had this, any ideas are welcome in the comments!

The ottomans come with similar cases and are pretty compact. I suggest getting these because they really add a little extra comfort. They are sturdy enough to use as stools for kids to sit on by the fire, too. I think one or two is a nice addition, we have two ottomans to our four chairs and that’s plenty.

Gravity Lounge Chairs

These are sometimes called “Zero Gravity Chairs” and they are the best option if you are looking for a camping recliner chair. These are very popular and lots of our friends have these. We did at one point, but like the previous ones for comfort and the covers. These do not have covers and fold up to a flat-ish rectangle. This may be better for some storage situations (like if you are lucky enough to have outdoor pass-through storage- in which case I am super jealous). They are definitely super easy to fold up quickly and don’t have a case (which is a con if you like a case like me, but a pro if you like being quick and don’t want to have to wrestle with a case to pack up). They are really comfortable. Because they adjust you can sit upright or lean back and put your feet up. The headrests and cup holders are a nice touch (not all options come with these).

Cons include a little rust on the legs when we had them. Also they need to be tightened every once in awhile. There are a lot of bolts and moving parts so the combination of the rust and adjustments can lead them to break after awhile. I do not suggest cheaping out on these- read reviews.

Folding Rocking Chairs

These are actually a thing. I did not even believe it when our friends showed up at our fire with a camping rocking chair. Honestly they don’t even look like rocking chairs…but I assure you they are. They are also quite comfortable. I am not hugely into rocking chairs honestly (did not get them for any of my kids nurseries) but some people are and if so, this is for you. Even as a non-rocking-chair-person, these were nice to sit in by the fire. They have a little cup holder attached and the fabric dries quickly after rain. They fold up easily and are light and compact. They do not have a carrying case. They are reasonably affordable too.

Hiking Chairs

Disclaimer: I have not tried either of these chairs but they are just so cool and I have to include something for those who hike out to the middle of nowhere for some sweet sweet solitude (I love my kids, but damn that sounds nice).

I have seen awesome ads for the Cliq Bottle Sized Compact Chair and it is just so teeny-tiny when folded that it blows the mind! It claims to set up incredibly easily (undo a strap and extend the arms, that’s it!). It is indisputably the smallest options out there that is an actual chair and not just a stool. Seriously, it’s the size of a water bottle, which is crazy. It looks to be somewhat comfortable if you have a small to medium frame, but I am not sure how it would hold up for larger people. I would get these not for camping but to have for family outings like hiking, fireworks, sporting events, and all those things I imagine we will go to once the last kiddo is out of diapers.

These other compact backpacking chairs look pretty great too. They are slightly larger, but still compact. Set up looks to be more complicated. The chart actually looks like pitching a tiny tent. That said, they are much more budget friendly. They look a little more comfortable and have a slightly higher weight capacity. They also have a cup holder! So cool.

Hitch Hammock Chairs

These are next level. You can’t sit by the campfire, but who cares! I saw them on a truck at a campground and immediately bought them for my husband as a Christmas present. They are heavy, not gonna lie. But just so cool and a fun way to use your hitch when you are parked. There are also models that covert to cold a regular hammock as well. I almost got this, but it was a bit pricy so I went with just the chair option. That said, these are pretty affordable and the hitch attachment comes with the chairs. I’m so excited for these chairs!

HA “camper hamper”-see what I did there? Once you’ve been camping in your RV for more than one night you realize that dealing with dirty laundry becomes an issue for us all. Once you camp with a family of five for over a week—wow. Where the hell do you put it all? Some friends just threw a regular plastic hamper in their shower, but I really don’t want to do that because then you have a hamper in your shower. There are a few great solutions out there to best use your camper’s space, whether you are doing laundry in your RV, at the campground, or just waiting it out until you get home. Here are a few creative RV hamper and laundry basket solutions for you to consider.

Hanging Hamper

Hanging Canvas Laundry Hamper Bag

This hanging laundry bag is what we use in our camper. Hands down, this is THE BEST solution I have found. I hate wasting time on laundry while we are on vacation. I would rather use our space to pack a boat-load of clean clothes to get us through the whole trip and just deal with the mountain of laundry when I am back home. These bags allow me to have an entire hanging hamper bag for each closet in our camper, which almost amounts to one per person! And they are a surprisingly cheap camper hamper solution.

These hanging laundry bags hang from one hanger that goes on your closet rod. These are a genius space-saving RV laundry hack as far as I am concerned because when empty they hang straight down and take up almost zero space. As you use your clothes they do fill up and take up some space, but that’s okay because the hanging clean clothes are getting used and freeing up space. I just works out! Plus they are in your closet so you don’t have to look at them. And they are washable!

Bonus tip, since each person in my camper has their own laundry bag, when I get home from a long trip I do each load separately. This way it is super easy to get through all of the vacation laundry since it is already pre-sorted by family member making it easy to put away!

    Narrow Camper Hamper

Collapsible Laundry Baskets

I just love saying that! These hampers are are so cute and space saving at the same time. They are sturdy enough to stand up and do not require a closet to hang. These are actually collapsible hampers, even though they don’t look flimsy at all. This would be great if you want to fold them up while you are traveling and you can take them out once you need them. They are affordable but still look nice in your space. And since they come in several colors, they can fit in with your RV’s décor. They have convenient handles to carry to the laundromat or into your house. I think this would make a great option, especially if you don’t have the closet space to use a hanging hamper.

Over The Door Hanging Hamper

Door Hanging Laundry Hamper

Behind the door is wasted space in our homes and in our campers, so why not use it? There are actually a few different options for over the door laundry bags. Some are more tailored, while others come in bold patterns which might be super cute in your RV. Here is a great kid-friendly camper hamper that comes in a lot of colors. For these to make sense, you would need a camper that has actual doors, of course. But these would be great laundry hampers for your bunkhouse, if you have a separate master bedroom, or even in your RV bathroom. We did not choose this option because we have barn-door style sliding doors in our master, but if your RV has regular doors separating rooms, or if you only need one and can utilize the bathroom door, these would be a great option. Also- washable!

Pop-up Cube Hampers

Collapsible Mesh Laundry Cubes

These are so cute and versatile. It is a set of two, one large and one small, mesh collapsible storage cubes/hampers. The best part of these RV hampers is that they not only collapse but they multi-task. You can use these storage cubes to pack your clean clothes and load your RV, and as you use your clothes you can use them as hampers. When we had our Class-C I bought canvas storage cubes from Walmart to store the kids’ clothes since they did not have a separate space with a closet. I used the cubes to pack the clothes, carry them out, and placed them at the foot of the loft bed. They worked fine, but these would have been so much better! You have one cube and one tall hamper. They are mesh- so breathable and see through! Plus they have handles to make them easy to carry. I can see these being perfect for tent camping, or RV camping in a pop-up, loft bed in a class C, or really any situation.

Collapsible Laundry Basket

Collapsible Ultra-Slim Utility laundry-baskets

This option is an actual laundry basket, not a hamper. These are great for anyone planning to do laundry at a campground. They start out just like a laundry basket you would have at home with handles and somewhat rigid sides and are pretty darn big. But they collapse to almost flat. You could store a couple of these in your under bed storage area, or really just about anywhere in your RV. They are super easy to pop open when you need them and carry your laundry to the campground laundromat, or use in your camper if you have a washer/dryer. These actually make so much sense, you should just pick some up for your house too.

Camping with a baby is not only possible, but it can be a great way to create adventures with your family. We started camping with a one-year-old in a tent. We were totally winging it. We barely survived. But luckily there are a lot of convenient baby products that have come along recently that make camping with a baby or toddler way more practical.

Foldable High Chair

Ciao! Baby Portable High Chair

This camping high chair is a game changer. This was not a thing with my first two babies, but I had one with my last baby and I cannot even tell you how I lived without it. You can use it while camping, but also IRL. We have one and bring it to restaurants, parties, other people’s houses, just everywhere. It is really easy to collapse and has a convenient case with a strap. The feeding area is easy to clean and it has safety straps. This thing is so useful and it is the most portable high chair you could possibly find. This makes this high chair ideal for camping whether you are in a small tent or a massive RV. Or a high end hotel. Or even your own back yard. Basically, if you are having a baby, you need this thing.

Portable Play Yard

Summer Pop ‘n Play Portable Play Yard

This play yard is very portable and lightweight. It will easily fit in your camper or fold up quickly for an outdoor space for your baby or toddler while you are tent or RV camping. It is surprisingly compact when folded. I have seen camping play yards that claim to pop up easily with one hand- but I have not tried those personally and they have a higher price tag. This one is pretty affordable and really is not a lot of effort to set up and is pretty spacious. It is all one piece which is a pro and a con. This makes it very easy to set up. Cleaning is a little tricky since the fabric does not detach from the frame. But my tip for that is to hose it down in your shower with a detachable shower head (I have done this in my residential shower, I don’t know that this would work in an RV shower but your outdoor shower might be a great option). I’m sure if you wanted to go all-out, a power washer would do the trick for a deep clean. If I had to do it over again I would splurge on the version with the shade canopy, but putting this under your RV awning works, too.

Travel Pack and Play Crib

Graco Travel Lite

We have had a full sized pack and play in the past, but for the past year camping with a newborn we were gifted a travel sized pack and play for camping. This has so far been great. We may need to move to the full size as the kiddo gets bigger, but I am having a hard time giving up this space saving option. This is a great camper pack and play because it actually fits in the space between our dinette benches when we take the table out. Our camper also has our bed in the slide so we have a huge amount of foot space in our master, and even though the regular pack and play fits, this one gives us so much more space. I will use this thing until the kid is bursting at the seems and we are force to use the bigger one.

Bonus storage- this compact pack and play crib has three depth settings. When your kiddo is a newborn and you can use the bassinet and middle height settings, you can actually store a bunch of baby supplies underneath. RV baby supply storage important. I kept extra diapers, wipes, burp cloths, swaddle blankets, and nursing supplies all between the space under the baby. This was super convenient when space is at a premium.

Portable Exersaucer

Orible Portaplay

I am torn on this one. Finding a camping exersaucer or bouncer is tricky because they can be pricey and bulky, plus babies only use them for a few months at most. But for that time, they can really be a life saver to have, so if you can bring one camping, I highly recommend it.

We have the Oribel Portaplay for camping because I knew this would be a super versatile and practical option. This is a multipurpose exersaucer that turns into a play table with stools. The legs also fold in, making it easy to travel with. This is not not worlds most space-saving, portable, or budget friendly option to be honest, but we really did love it. It is also relatively easy to clean and the height is adjustable as your baby grows. My baby loved it, and it fit under our dinette while on the road. Now it is in his room at home as a play table with stools, which my favorite feature. Babies are only able to use a bouncer for a short time, but we will get years of use out of this!

Summer Pop ‘n Jump

This foldable baby exersaucer was not available when with had the last kiddo, but I wish it was. This looks like a super portable option with lots of toys and even a shad cover. I have not personally tried this thing, but it looks like you can’t go wrong!

Camping Teether Toys

Okay, these aren’t really a camping hack, but they are cute as anything and you need these.
