Looking for camping gifts for him? The internet is full of outdoorsy gifts for men, but most of are not shopping for Bear Grylls. A lot of the camping and hiking gifts out there are maybe a little too rugged or unnecessary, especially if you are looking for gifts for the more average outdoor enthusiast. Here are some fun, practical, and budget-friendly camping gifts for men.
Yeti Coffee Mug
This is a great travel mug. My husband and I both have one in the camper and use it every single day when we camp. It comes in 10 or 14oz, but I suggest the larger size. The lid is great for keeping your beverage from spilling. This camping coffee cup is well insulated and keeps your drink hot or cold for hours. In fact, we don’t just use it for coffee…in the hot summer months it is a great way to carry your cold cocktail around the campsite. And the price point is a little more doable than the bigger Yeti products.
Blackstone and Accessories
Blackstone is the “it” grill in camping right now and there’s a reason why…well more like a million reasons. A tabletop version is portable and affordable. These are the perfect camping grill for RVers and tent campers since they are super versatile. There are 22″ and 17″ tabletop versions I suggest a lid, cover and accessories to go with it.
Cooler Backpack
A cooler backpack is the camping accessory I never knew I needed until by husband was gifted one at a company retreat. We wondered if we would use it. We use it ALL THE TIME. It is great for hiking for obvious reasons- you can back a healthy lunch and it will keep your food and drinks cool and fresh for hours with a few ice packs or a couple of frozen water bottles. It is way more portable than lugging around a cooler with a handle and way more practical than shoving multiple small insulated lunch boxes and thermoses into a regular backpack. It also come in handy at campsites when you want to transport cold food or drinks and your friend’s RV is across the campground, or you want to bring your own refreshments to the pool or lake. We have literally stuffed an entire 2 gallon thermos filled with Malibu Bay Breeze in it to serve punch-style by the beach.
Inflatable Kayak
Camping with a kayak is not always the easiest logistically speaking. Of course serious kayakers manage, but for a beginner camping kayak, this is a great solution. It is relatively compact when deflated and surprisingly sturdy in the water. This set comes with a basic pump and paddles.
Hanging Toiletry Bag
This compact camping toiletry organizer has great pockets and space for a ton of toiletries. It can be easily packed at home, zipped up, and ready to go. At the campsite you can hang it from the shower curtain rod in your RV bathroom or bring it with you to the bathhouse. Bottles stay upright whether it is hanging or just sitting on the countertop.
